Ambassador Pete Hoekstra served as the United States Ambassador to the Netherlands from 2018-2021 and served as a U.S. Representative for the Michigan 2nd Congressional District from 1993-2011. In January 2024, he was elected the new Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party.
